I thought that I was alone in my suspicion and dislike of the Catholic Church having experienced it first hand being taught by nuns and Brothers. I avoided being taught by priests as I went to a non-religious Wellington High School (lucky me). I recently stumbled across some excellent writings by other Wellington - ex-Catholic boys like Stephen Oliver and bloggers who go by the name of The Curmudgeon and Richard's Bass Bag.
I don't know these guys but when reading some of the things they say it brings home lots of memories - not all bad for sure but enough to question.
Today I read a post by one of them that made me think that I should 'step up' and republish things that need to be shared more widely.
